And Finally

Thank you for visiting our webpage. We hope you made it all the way to the end because we saved the best for last. Here are photos of the Welsh Mountain Pony who started it all for us. This is Tannerwood Koko pictured at age 35 in top photo and with our children winning blue and red ribbons at shows in his younger years. Koko was our very first Welsh Pony and because of him we fell in love with Welsh Mountain Ponies. We purchased him as a 9 year old and he lived to be 36. He was the perfect pony for the entire family. Always patient and gentle. In his prime he was totally gorgeous. And such a character. Koko won many, many, many awards, high point trophies, and year end awards. He taught our two children and our granddaughter to ride. He was royally bred with a pedigree that rivals that of kings and queens. But in the end, he was simply our precious pet. We have so many fond memories of this pony. And it is to him that we dedicate this webpage. And we dedicate ourselves to the pursuit of breeding ponies just like him, for many others to enjoy and love. Rest in peace dear Koko. You were the best of all.

In the photo above, my daughter (15 years old) had just finished

a year of

chemo and was starting radiation treatments.

Even though she had outgrown Koko, we brought him out

for her to

enjoy showing.

She ended up qualifying for State 4-H in Pennsylvania for

showmanship.

Son, Jeremy, riding Koko bareback at a lesson.

Koko and daughter, Randi,

winning a blue in western pleasure

youth

class. The classes were generally about 25-30 entries.

Koko was multi-talented, showing in

English, Western, games, trail, costume,

and anything else my children

threw at him.

He also went into parades and petting zoos. Always patient

but ready to move out when asked.
